1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Shop na Pesi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. The Service

Shop na Pesi provides short-term shopping credit that lets you pay any M-Pesa till or paybill, with the merchant settled in full at the time of purchase. By using the service you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your account and PIN confidential
• Use your credit only for lawful purchases
• Repay all amounts borrowed according to your agreed terms

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must hold a valid government-issued ID
• You must have a registered M-Pesa account
• You must meet our credit-assessment criteria

4. Credit & Repayment

• Your credit limit is set at onboarding and may be adjusted based on your repayment history
• Interest is charged per purchase at the rate shown for your product
• Repayment is due within your agreed term; partial repayments restore your available credit
• Late repayment may incur penalties and affect your limit or account status

5. Merchant Payments

Purchases are settled directly to the merchant's M-Pesa till or paybill. You are responsible for confirming the correct merchant details at checkout. Settled transactions are final.

6. Account Suspension

We may suspend or close your account for breach of these terms, false information, missed repayments, or suspected fraud.

7. Privacy

We protect your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
